All levels of management need consistent and common approaches and tools in order to quantify and control daily workloads and to communicate needs and successes to all employees. Without short-interval management tools,

• untimely and out-of-context data presents an inaccurate picture of daily operations

• the lack of tactical metrics prohibits effective business cases and models that measure and maximize the benefits of technology and processes
