- Two inches of frozen snow on site with 15F

temp and 0F wind chill all but stopped activity on

the site. One worker was on site at 7:30A. At

10:45A the dozer and backhoe started to clean

snow from site but activity was over by 12:15P

and the site abandoned by 1:30P. (44 sec)

- The backhoe entertained the morning

commuters stuck at the traffic light at

Connecticut and Military (just off camera left).

The usual work on the retaining walls was

upstaged by the backhoe, dozer, and dump

trucks removing the dirt from the northwest

corner of the site. However, while active, today

was nothing compared to the steady queue of

dump trucks of mid-December. (3:04 min)

Happy New Year!

The year ended on a bee-hive of activity. The

backhoe dug dirt from the northwest retaining

wall and then trucked it away, while crew work

continued on the northwest retaining wall. (2:09

min)

Again the bulk of the work was the crew on the

retaining walls. For the first time in a week the big

backhoe powered up for several hours; it piled dirt

in the northwest corner.
