From 7A to Noon, the crew filled the foundation
with the loads of a stream of cement trucks.

- Work began today at 6:30A, again. However,
this time there was work in earnest all the sunny
day. The crew erected gang forms and filled each
with cement via the crane. The Deere excavator
played on his gravel pile. The ant colony analogy
is impossible to avoid; the large movements of
the first six months of excavation make the
construction activity look slow and tedious. In
addition, the morning glare and the strobe effect
of fast moving clouds made the time-lapse video
not worth watching.

- Making up for the rain day, the crane operator
climbed into place at 6:30A but abandoned his
post by noon. Threatening skies and an ominous
weather report kept activity to a minimum. The
Deere excavator received and spread several loads
of gravel.

- A half day of work in a full day of rain. Most of
the crew moved slowly in their big yellow slickers
and succumbed to the rain -- heavy at times --
and by 11A only the smaller, yellow, Deere
excavator on the new eastern hill remained to
received several truck loads of gravel. The site
was abandoned to the storm by noon.

- Work now stretches from just before 7A to
often after 5P. And today most of the long day
was in the drizzle and rain and viewed through
1:42 min of raindrops. Before 7A three
“managers” surveyed the site progress. During
the gray day, the excavators and a skidsteer
spread a truck load of gravel to make a new
extended mountain of far-east, drive way. The
crane and soggy crew continued to transfer
cement from a queue of trucks to foundation and
walls forms.(1:42 min)

- Work resumed today as it ended Friday, a three
ring circus. The backhoe filled dump trucks at the
gate. Queued cement trucks unloaded from
Military Road to the crane bucket and then to the
foundation footings and walls in the northwest
corner. And in ring three, the crew continued work
on the retaining south and west walls. (1:38 min)
