☆ Video - In spite of the rain, a good

construction-watching day.

-  Precisely at 6:58A the baby dozer tidied the

upper site for the large cement pumping truck

that arrived at 7:03A, and by 7:42A the first of

fifty cement trucks was dumping its load via the

pumping truck to the south retaining wall. The

rain arrived at the same time and finally washed

out all site work at 12:15P. The cement pumping

truck was gone by 1:10P and the site was closed

shortly after. (1:52 min)

- Video - Usual Day.

The usual backhoe and dozer worked the site

until, as usual, at 9:30A the first wave of dump

trucks arrived; it took longer to fill the dump

trucks because they had to back onto the site, as

usual, and because the street level area of the

site was shrinking. In-between waves of dump

trucks, supplies were delivered and allocated

across the site. At 1:30P a small stream of

cement trucks were accommodated by the crane

and its cement funnel -- as usual. (2:12 min)

- At 6:50A the crane operator ascended. The

glare of the direct rising sun overpowered the ant-

like site work until 8:30A. As usual, at 9:30A the

first wave of dump trucks arrived. Although the

webcam could not capture it, the movements of

the crane implied significant work on the

Connecticut retainer wall. There was a stream of

dump trucks the rest of the work day, joined by

several cement trucks. At 3:30 the crane

operator descended. (2:02 min)

- Video - Tedious Until...

A rather tedious looking workday until 11:11A

when the first of thirteen cement trucks arrived

on site with a queue of cement trucks front and

center on Connecticut Ave. Each truck filled two

crane cement funnels, and all of the cement

disappeared into the unseen construction along

the Connecticut Ave. wall. (3:39 min)

- Video - Spring Snow

- While winter snows halted production, all the

crew and machines pushed through this spring

snow. Supplies were deliver and redistributed

around the site. The three -- resident orange,

Hertz yellow, and now Deere yellow -- backhoes

dug. A crew worked at street level on

Connecticut. Just after 1P a cement truck

ventured no further than the gate, but the new

site crane easily retrieved the cement in its

cement funnel. (4:14 min)

- This dusk for the first time the webcam noticed

the lights on in the mobile trailer offices on the

south east corner. The site crane operator

climbed the tower precisely at 7A. At 9:30A the

first dump truck of the first wave (inefficiently)

backed onto the site. At 10:30A two large funnels

for the site crane were delivered followed closely

by their transfer to the pit at the bottom of the

crane. At 11:30A two very big blue barrels were

deliver. At 12N the next wave of dump trucks

arrived interrupted briefly by a delivery truck. At

2P a smaller wave of dumps trucks started, and

just before 3P the first cement truck loaded the

cement funnel for the site crane to deliver. At

3:35P the crane operator descended. (4:29 min)
