Instead of a usual Saturday Dump Truck Day,
there was only a queue of cement trucks visiting
the site, today. The excavators moved dirt from
around the site, piling it by the gate, but they quit
by noon and everyone left before 2P.

- During the early mooring glare, large metal rods
were delivered to the site on the ramp of dirt just
inside the gate. The backhoes and skidsteers
excavated further down at the north west corner.
The queue of cement trucks can be seen front
and center on Connecticut. (1:29 min)

The 8P glare found a yellow backhoe working on
the pile of dirt just inside the gate; shortly after
the two skidsteers joined the excavation for the
rest of the day. Work continued on the south and
west retaining wall s-- just outside the view of the
webcam. The crane operator moved cement and
supplies until almost 5P.
Tuesday, 15 April, 2014 - Rainy Days
and Tax Day...
While rainy days stop excavation, nothing will stop
the cement deliveries from their appointed rounds.
At 6:58A the crane operator pushed up through
the rain to his perch. The crane moved cement,
supplies and even the port-a-potties down into the
site pit. A few crew in yellow rain slickers slogged
around the periphery of the site. At 1:10P the
crane operator descended just before a heavy rain
storm and the site looked closed for the rest of
the day.

- Glare obscured the webcam even on a cloudy
start. By 9A the orange backhoe had moved a
cement barrier across the drive just inside the
gate and had started to dig down on the small
patch of elevated dirt on which the backhoe had
sat the last week. The other earth moving
equipment moved earth from around the site to
the gate, although there were no dump trucks in
attendance, today. Cement was offloaded by
trucks parked on Military. In addition, the Sr.
Supervisor for the site answered several questions.
