7A while taking AM photos, talked to Scott,

supervisor for cement contractor; they are

responsible for foundation and decks a.k.a.

cement floors. Today they are filling in the floor of

the second level (on the south side behind the

tree), so there is one 9’ level beneath the deck

they are filling today. Scott said the cement

contractor would build all the cement floors, and

when they left the site, there would be a frame on

which the metal and glass would fit. Today Scott

and several other crew were outside the fence to

direct the cement trucks in order to minimize the

inconvenience to neighbors.

Rain day. Starting at 7A, a few yellow slickers

roamed the site, and even though the rain cleared

by midday there was no large construction.

The usual AM crew exercise and then a day of

work on the foundation and walls on the south

side of the site -- behind a tree. The crew work

was supplied by a queue of cement trucks. The

baby backhoe and baby dozer moved the

remaining dirt and the gravel.

Same activity as yesterday, except shortly before

3P the orange, resident excavator backhoe “left

the building.” It literally worked its way out of a

job -- at our site. In fact, all large excavation

equipment has been replaced by Munchkin

versions.

The baby backhoe and a small dozer pushed dirt

up the mound at the gate to the resident orange

backhoe, who carefully reached down to load the

slight trickle of dump trucks. A queue of cement

trucks supplied the work on the walls and floor,

seen center screen. The typical workday that

used to be 7A to 3P is now 6:30A to 5P. (1:59
