- VIDEO YouTube - Saturday Started with a Bang

-- Literally

The site manager arrived early at 6:37A, and by

7:03A -- on a Saturday morning -- the big

backhoe was revved up and in action. At 7:25A

the first of a caravan of dump trucks arrived.

(Minutes before, you can see them on

Connecticut Ave. at the bottom of the frame.) By

7:54A the first of a dozen cement trucks arrived

to work on the Kanawha St. side (screen right and

the camera box at the top left corner), and by 9A

there were five cement trucks on site. The small

bulldozer and the construction forklift took over

the activity from the large backhoe. Finally, by

12:33P the major construction activity was

finished, and only the welder and forklift continued

the rest of the day.

Same multi-activity as yesterday, but added

construction trailer to south east corner at

10:10A.

• Thursday, 14 November, 2013

Busy day on the construction site. Welding

continued on the Military St. side (screen left

behind the trees); the Jurassic Giraffe and cement

trucks continued building a metal structure on the

south east corner, and included Jurassic Park

sound effects (off screen right and in the left

corner camera box); and the large backhoe and a

string of dump trucks continued removing the

mount of dirt along Connecticut Ave (center

screen front).

- Continued welding on the Military St. side, and

started hole digging with Jurassic Giraffe on the

Kanawha St. side,
