- YouTube Video - Saturday is Dump Day
Before 7A the dump trucks were already queued
on Connecticut Ave and Kanawha St (their lights
and shadows can been seen as they cross the
bottom of the camera). The trucks were queued
on Connecticut and Kanawha because of the
parked cars on Connecticut and Military. And at
7A the first dump truck was already receiving a
load. Although the first hour foreshadowed a busy
day, the rest of the day the dump trucks came
intermittently and at a moderate rate. There were
only 97 loads removed and work was complete by
2P. (2.53 min)

- YouTube Video - Ballet of the Backhoes
A beautiful red and gold sunrise lead into the
Ballet of the Backhoes. At 9:45A the baby
backhoe took front center stage for a few
minutes, with a slow movement around noon.
About a dozen dump trucks gathered loads
intermittently, leaving the second half of the day
to the large backhoe as it piled dirt and patted
down and tidied the mounds until precisely 2P.
